About The Research

The author’s MP tried in 1997 to table questions in Parliament on the secrecy surrounding the author’s answer to cancer. The reason why her research was suppressed is covered fully in ‘The Cancer Files – A Biochemist’s story: how the answer to cancer was suppressed’, obtainable either online through the shop or free with each seminar/workshop. The author graduated with joint honours degree in Biochemistry and Physiology, from Southampton University (UK) and worked in academic research for many years, before setting up the Karnak Charitable Trust in 1989. The Trust was an independent research project, which sought to research the cause of cancer and chronic illness. The author disillusioned by the inability of modern medicine to resolve the Platonic Maxim* set out on a path of independent research. ‘Before you can cure a man’s body, you must first cure his mind and before that his soul’ (Plato’s maxim). Clearly modern medicine had failed to grasp the answer that was there from the beginning – cancer is a condition of mind and body, which the author was fully able to identify as a scientific mechanism in her published research paper. The research reveals a specific psychology in cancer which underpins the biochemistry and unless that psychology is addressed the patients health remains at risk. The author approached the body aspect of cancer by utilising the nutritional methods of Dr Max Gerson M.D. (1881 -1959) for the treatment of cancer and chronic disease. The author was soon to recognise that orthodox medical research had dismissed this genius, who initially applied his nutritional therapy to patients with “incurable “Lupus in the 1920 ‘s and obtained a 99% success rate in 450 cases. In 1928 he healed his first three “incurable” cancer cases: one advanced, inoperable bile duct cancer and two advanced inoperable stomach cancers. Dr Gerson went on to cure many so-called “incurables ” with terminal cancer and Dr. Albert Schweitzer the Nobel Prize humanitarian and physician and one of the 20th Century ‘s most honoured men, was treated successfully by Dr Gerson at the age of 75, for advanced diabetes. Following treatment Dr Schweitzer returned to Africa and won the Nobel Prize and worked past the age of 90. Dr Schweitzer was to later write of Dr Gerson: “I see in Dr Gerson one of the most eminent geniuses of medical History.”

Dr Gerson in the 1940 ‘s appeared before a Senate hearing in America to present the medical histories of some of his cured cancer patients, in attempts to gain a slice of the multi-billion pound ‘gravy train’ of research funding and grants. The Editorial in the AMA (American Medical Journal of Nov.16 1946) mentioned Dr Gerson ‘s appearance before the Senate sub committee that year. The hearings also covered: “A Bill to authorise and request the President, to undertake to mobilize at some convenient place in the United States, an adequate number of the world ‘s outstanding experts, and co-ordinate and utilize their services in a supreme endeavour to discover means of curing and preventing cancer “. Don C. Matcham was to comment in Herald of Health magazine: “The Committee report of 227 pages, Document No.89471, gathers dust in the archives of the Government Printing Office “. Dr Gerson was to die a discredited man professionally, despite the brilliance of his work and presumably not fully understanding the role of The Syndicate, who had no intention (or policy) of resolving the first part of the Platonic Maxim – the cure of the body either cheaply or by natural means.

Whilst the author recognised the importance of Dr Gerson’s work in healing the body, it was evident from the author’s own research that there was a mental component working in cancer and that cancer was a condition of mind and body. The author went on to discover a specific psychology of cancer, which can be addressed by specific therapy, which the author now seeks to explain in her book ‘The Cancer Files’ and within the seminars and workshops. The psychology also links to a specific biochemistry, which can also be addressed in therapy.

It seems incredible now that in order to complete the cancer research and the subsequent research inclusive of the four volume series of books entitled ‘Theatre Earth – who pulls the strings?’ the author was subjected to 25 years of serious human rights violations in the UK. If the field of the body in illness and cancer is a conflicting battlefield between orthodox and alternative viewpoints then there is a virtually identical battle and hidden agenda of conflicting interests, being played out in the field of the mind. If Dr Gerson failed in his radical new dietary approach to cancer to gain financial and professional backing, manpower and research facilities to further his research and clinical testing, then one could only view the battle to gain acceptance for the role of the mind in cancer as the same battle game of orthodox drug related therapy and alternative viewpoints and methods.

“What progress we are making. In the Middle Ages they would have burned me. Now they are content with burning my books”. (Sigmund Freud 1933)

At least Freud survived, whereas the Catholic Church imprisoned poor old Galileo for his scientific innovation. After a horrendous series of events, depicted on page iii of THE CANCER FILES, it very soon became apparent to the author that the barrier to the freedom of science and the resolution of the Platonic Maxim, was not only inclusive of the profits to the pharmaceutical and psychiatric medical syndicate that would be threatened by a resolution of the Platonic Maxim and healing of mind and body by alternative methods; but a deeper barrier existed in the resolution of the final part of the Platonic Maxim – ‘the soul’. The field of religion manipulated over thousands of years becomes another formidable barrier unless you can see the thread of scientific truth that runs through all and which I tried to explain in the Theatre Earth series, with the science mainly restricted to volume 3 of that series.

THE MECHANISM FOR CANCER based on the author’s research was published in a medical journal in 1989 (R. Henry, s. McLean “A Theory for Cancer based on a Study of Cancer Patients Using The Gerson Cancer Therapy in conjunction with Psychological Counselling”: Complementary Medical Research Spring 1989 Vol. 3 No. 2 – British Library Medical Information Service, Document Supply Centre, Boston Spa, Wetherby, West York’s LS23 &BQ UK). The Second Millennium Working Report into Cancer supported the research. The author’s MP in 1997 tried to table questions in the UK Parliament concerning the secrecy surrounding the mechanism for cancer that the author had proposed. Predictably the Petition was ‘scuttled’ and the British government not wishing to confront the faulty science and rationale on which cancer policy is based, continued with a futile policy in cancer treatment, which would only see the cancer statistics rise in the following decades.

“The peculiar evil in silencing the expression of an opinion is that it is robbing the human race: posterity as well as the existing generation, those who dissent from the opinion, still more than those who hold it. If the opinion is right, they are deprived of the opportunity of exchanging error for truth; if wrong they loose what is almost as great a benefit, the clearer perception and livelier impression of truth, produced by its collision with error”. (John Stuart Mill on Liberty 1859)

The patients entered into the author’s small-scale clinical trial were all classed as incurable by orthodox medicine and given no further hope and yet all those who followed the programme aimed at resolving the mind and body components in the mechanism of cancer, survived whilst those who did not for various reasons undertake the psychological programme died. As Plato stated, you must “first cure the mind”.

After many years of attempting to have the mechanism further subjected to larger scale trials and scientific study, it became apparent to the author that the mechanism would fundamentally threaten the edifice of politics and modern medicine. As a wit once remarked: “I would rather ere with Galen, than be right with Harvey.” Harvey discovered the pumping action of the heart, thus challenging the former entrenched orthodox belief held by Galen that the blood circulated according to the ebb and tide flow. As with any new innovative thought in science and medicine, the originator far from being welcomed is vigorously and even viciously fought, particularly where profit is threatened.

“Renee Henry (a scientist) encountered the Power of the Pharmaceutical conglomerates and the subservient world of medical Orthodoxy. The massive and globally profitable world of the “Drug and counter drug” would in no way allow competition from the simple and direct path of Alternative Medicine. The cost in human life was irrelevant. Renee Henry also discovered to her cost that there was no such “commodity” as the Right of the Individual, professional impartiality, much less integrity, and no journalistic freedom, as she found government Agencies, and the Medical Establishment, blocking her path. Moreover, she now risked following the path of those who for decades, had gone before, and had been discredited and destroyed personally and professionally. We have depicted the structures of money Power, the vital “life blood” of the global Power Brokers, as a vast inverted “cone” spinning in precarious, centrifugal equilibrium. The Trans-national Corporations they control in a profit-driven struggle for survival, committed to the self-generating drive for expansion – Growth – at whatever the cost. This is essentially what Renee Henry sought to challenge, and we therefore decided to publish her record, such is its importance to justice and the long-term well-being of mankind.” (On Target Magazine – Vol. 31 Nos 1 & 2 14th and 28th July, 2001 – Intelligence Publications (UK).

The issue however goes much deeper than profit. In 1993 the author had to abandon her hopes of a centre where the research could operate under the umbrella of the Karnak Charitable Trust, due to the lack of funds and the personal financial distress the project had placed upon her: where she had funded the small scale two year project herself. There was also continual and considerable pressure from various directions to stop the project and every avenue of expression of the variant viewpoint presented by the research was actively blocked.

“The test of democracy is freedom of criticism”. (David Ben Gurion)

In 1986 the author had as a Biochemist, set out to resolve the mechanism of cancer outside of the orthodox establishment. It was her feeling that Cancer a long established illness and even mentioned in ancient religious texts, was likely to be a natural mechanism and the failure of modern medicine to find a cure or even identify fully the mechanism, depended on an inability to look at the problem from all viewpoints and an inability to confront the complex edifice of power and profit that had emerged in the field of cancer since the second World War. One oncologist when asked to read the author’s research paper and cancer report replied: “If I look at what you are doing and saying, I would have to question what I am doing and I am not prepared to do that” – the ostrich syndrome. Certainly no doctor wishes to question his training, his salary, pension and the powerful medical hierarchy. As centuries of orthodox thinking had failed to solve the problem, the author decided that she would look at any new information regardless of source and regardless of political correctness.

Once that decision had been made, the next twenty years of harassment and legal attacks were set. It is no wonder in retrospect that an answer was not found before this research as you would have to be capable of tremendous confront, determined and fearless to withstand those attacks and hold an unshakable belief in the purpose of science – truth and its ability to serve mankind. The author was not the only scientist who has suffered continual harassment, loss of employment and professional isolation, as numerous other scientists in the field of cancer research, who did not bow to policy and authority, have experienced the same suppressive and undemocratic reactions, which the author covered in her book The Cancer Files. “Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence” (Albert Einstein). It might seem reasonable to allow a minority of people like myself, who sought an alternative answer to cancer, the freedom under Article 13 to express an opinion in books and via a Website without having that opinion used against you to deter your employment and used even in courts of law in totally unconnected cases, with no regard for the Human Rights Act, in order to fleece and demonise you. However once you enter the field of alternative cancer research and alternative secret history, you find an insane battlefield, where your human rights do not count.

“All, too, will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will, to be rightful, must be reasonable, that the minority possess their equal rights which equal laws must protect, and to violate would be oppression” (Thomas Jefferson)

The author’s experience and years of oppression even within the British courts, where virtually every Human Right was broken, revealed deep-seated ignorance, prejudice and bias and downright suppression of free speech. “Prejudices are what fools use for reason” (Voltaire) It was truly amazing to the author that once you scrape the gold veneer surface of British democracy, you find a highly undemocratic, hypocritical and oppressive State working through its labyrinthine so-called avenues of ‘open government’ and law courts; where ‘do what thou wilt is the whole of the law’, shaves away any naive belief in justice and democracy you held, to expose a rotten hypocritical and even criminal core. It is probably no co-incidence that Britain has one of the worst statistics for Human Rights violations of its own nationals within the European Union and yet presents itself on the world’s stage as a defender of other nationals’ rights. “The true hypocrite is the one who ceases to perceive his deception, the one who lies with sincerity” (Andre Gide) One comes to realise that the institutions that claim those, oh so grand mission statements, are merely show casing for an empty shop of promises. “Hypocrisy can afford to be magnificent in its promises, for never intending to go beyond promise, it costs nothing” (Edmond Burke) The European Court I found was as much use as a chocolate teapot, when it came to protecting human rights of those who are not prisoners, gay or terrorists; only underlining the premise I set out in the ‘Theatre Earth – who pulls the strings?’ series that the plan of a “United States of the West” conceived at the time of the French Revolution, and spoken of as “a massive project”, which the secret groups organised (with the American Revolution), principally the Freemasons; was always intended to be a hierarchically elitist form of Communism with a Judaeo Christian religion. Human Rights were the shop window dressing to hide a more hidden agenda and policy of the Superstate. Today the secret history of the French Revolution and European Union is kept well out of view and children are educated into myths, which bear no resemblance to the facts. As Voltaire remarked: “history is a Mississippi of lies”. “The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie, deliberate, continued and dishonest, but the myth, persistent, persuasive and unrealistic (T.T.K) Of course the myth of the French Revolution, was that it was instigated by monarchy (and not the Freemasons), which the BBC in the UK never fail to promote. The art of propaganda always paints the myth. As politicians today hypocritically denounce their bed-fellow of many years – Rupert Murdoch; now being forced to admit this man controlled British politics for at least two decades, they have refused to look at the case of cancer and the power of immunity big business and even the legal system have acquired, where medical practise and policy is now governed by profit – Illness is big business. As with my experience in law where unethical practises I noted in the 80’s had evolved into the illegal zone and where the legal profession simply brushed such practise under the legal carpet, wherever you have power of immunity and unchallenged power you will eventually find injustice and criminality. I think I would go so far as to say from my own personal experiences that the legal profession is now virtually a Syndicate run by a few for the rich few, for profit and retains its power by way of immunity from scrutiny of any oversight. I do speak from long experience of the so-called regulatory bodies and Ombudsmen. If you don’t have freedom of the press, then all these little fellows are weaselling around and doing their monkey business and they never get caught”. (Harold R. Nedina) Like rabbits pinned in the headlights of a car, mesmerised by the rich and powerful and celebrities, the press now rarely utilises the powerful weapon of exposure and investigative journalism; an exception in the UK being The Daily Telegraph’s coverage of the MP’s (Members of Parliament) expenses scandal. Unfortunately even if you take out an advertisement as I did for the cancer research in the 90s it is removed and you are not refunded. Yes unbelievably this happened with the Brighton Argus newspaper. “If all mankind minus one were of one opinion, mankind would be no more justified in silencing that one person than he, if he had the power, would be justified in silencing mankind (John Stuart Mill, on Liberty 1859) Every human being has a right to hear what other wise human beings have spoken to him. It is one of the Rights of Men, a very cruel injustice if you deny it to a man”. (Thomas Carlyle) “We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people”. (John F. Kennedy) “We can never be sure that the opinion we are endeavouring to stifle is a false opinion; and if we were sure, stifling it would be an evil still” (John Stuart Mill, On Liberty – 1859) The author also completed a two-year research project in Greece and Crete with the aim of explaining Einstein’s singularity as an extension of her research and was finally able to publish the entirety of her original research spanning 20 years, in a four volume series entitled: THEATRE EARTH – WHO PULLS THE STRINGS? “But beware these books may change the way you see the world. If only 5% of what Renee Henry has to say is true then the world as we know it is a lie” (Encounters Magazine 1997). “Once in a while you meet someone whose work has the potential to completely overthrow one’s world. The author of this book is one of those rare people. I strongly urge you to read this book, it will definitely make you think!” (Sightings Magazine 1997). ‘The Battle of the Trees’ and ‘UFO’s Mind and Body Control’ are no longer in print (to save enquiries). The author has recently set up WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS and published her own story and cancer research THE CANCER FILES – A BIOCHEMIST’S STORY: HOW THE ANSWER TO CANCER WAS SUPPRESSED. The cancer research like an errant child, led the author through the mined battle fields of history, religion, politics, psychology, biochemistry, archaeology and anthropology and finally, into the forbidden no-man ‘s land of metapolitics – the politics of the soul and spirit. That is where one finds the most formidable attacks. Modern medicine has now moved far from the true path of healing stated so clearly by Plato.

‘Before you can cure a man’s body, you must first cure his mind and before that his soul’.

The author in her research was able to describe a scientific mechanism for the way in which cancer works, which proves that Plato was totally correct. The mechanism really is a mechanism of mind body and spirit. And that mechanism works according to a specific biochemistry and psychology. Even the order in which Plato has placed the healing is correct – astounding really that Plato knew this and perhaps an illustration of how far man has allowed the technology to blind him to the simple truth of how cancer works.

As Winston Churchill once remarked: The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is”. There are always going to be those who have a sufficiently open mind and willingness to listen to a variant alternative viewpoint. However one comes to realise as Ayn Rand said:

“The truth is not for all men, but only for those who seek it”.

Our World Our Say (TM) “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinion drown out your own inner voice: And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary”. (Steve Jobs)
